Sir Robert Stanes established the foundational enterprise of the Stanes Group in Coimbatore, pioneering coffee curing and industry.
Started the first manure works in Coimbatore — Stanes Fertilizer Works
Pioneered scientific manure and mechanical fertilizer mixing to support regional agriculture and plantations.
The Company celebrated the Centenary year and was acquired by the Amalgamations Group
